In follow-up to Daryl Jay Kyles album Who Am I, and his podcast Talk About It it is time for his next project. Everything he learnt from these projects, he wants to do better in this one. Like collaborating with other artists. That is why his next album is in collaboration with guitarist and friend Dominggus Pfaff.
"We remember discovering our shared source of inspiration as clearly as daylight. On a musical work trip to Italy, having known each other for barely a couple of weeks, we were driving through the sunlit mountains in a brand-new SUV (rented by our clients), talking like we’d been friends for years, Trijntje Oosterhuis’ en Leonardo Amuedo's album Never Can Say Goodbye came up in conversation. Daryl had been deeply inspired by the backing vocals, and Dominggus by the way Leonardo masters the guitar.
“One day, let’s make an album like this,” we said, and we shook hands.
Now, three years later, that dream has come true. Together with an amazing group of friends and family, we are overjoyed to present our very first album together.
May it inspire you as much as Trijntje and Leonardo inspired us. May the lyrics touch your heart and the arrangements move your body. May it be like a kiss on your soul."
The album will be full of fun collaborations. Its release date is yet to be decided.
